Well i drive a 91 talon Fwd auto. the car is slipping at low rpms in first, and second, but then it takes off like a rocket. It's not bad, but i don't like it. i tryed calling Dogbox, cause of there 100$ off sale, and they dont do auto's called IPT, and they wanted 2900 for 1000hp build. My goals are 350-380 i dont have 2900 for just a transmission where would you guys recomend getting it rebuilt?

Any local automatic transmission rebuilder can do an OEM rebuild on it.

Well i found one thanks to Steven Miller for 200$ said. The guy told me there was 89k on the car, and it was running when he got it. Is there anything i should be looking for when i go pick it up?

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/aut...ion-part-1-ipt-performance-transmissions.html Kodos to John from IPT for making this video :)

I definately recommend this kit. Have it installed by whomever you have rebuild your transmission. John does a great job of showing how it is done in this video, but if you're not familiar with it, I'll share some of the benefits.

(Taken directly from the TransLab TL-175 instructions)
THIS KIT FIXES
2-3 flare, coast downshift clunk, part throttle 3-2 bang, OD woln't engage (kickdown / liftfoot / back on throttle), end clutch failure, neutrals at a stop, no engagement (no convertor fill), 4-2 kickdown runaway, 3rd gear start, delay / slip / no forward, slide 1-2, delay reverse, no upshift.
PROVIDES:
Improved cooler flow, lube, and lockup operation, convertor fills in park, shorter shifts without the resulting downshift clunks, extended clutch and band life.

Also included in the instructions are some great tips for your builder to help him get it right the first time and you back in your car (happy and cruising) quickly. I've installed this kit at least a dozen times a year for the past seven years and use it in my own DSM's.

This shift kit can be purchased through IPT's website (I recommend this, since they are a site sponsor) or your local rebuilder can get it through their normal channels.

(No, I'm not affliated with them in any way. I just want every auto DSM enthusiest to get what's best for their car and keep it on the road).

Good luck. :)
