1G transmission replaced weird noise from starter/battery area

ok i replaced the trans on my 1g, when i turn the key to the on position theirs a staticy noise like somethings crossed by the starter area, the car turns on fine but still makes the noise. i checked all my wires any one have any ideas?

It should be the idle air control stepper motor doing it's thing it does.

you sure? because it never did it before i swapped the trans... i just dont want it blowing up on me or catching fire.

Anyone else?
