Transmission/Differential?

Greetings. I am working on my project and have run into a slight problem. I cant find any info on regearing the diffs or doing trannie work to increase the top speed. (Im putting a LSD in the front, so I figured while the box is open...)

Also does anyone have any advice about what should be done to the transmission to handle much more power? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

As far as handling more power, depeneding on how much power you will need a rebuilt trans. stock talon trans are generally good too 400hp reliable. Different clutch and flywheel will help too!

Check out TRE trans, Jacks transmissions, Shepherd racing, Dogbox racing, and TMZ transmissions online. They all specialize in our transmissions. You can spend anywhere from $800-$5000+ depending on how crazy you want to go.

To handle more power than stock I would suggest at least a 4-spider or welded center diff. and a rebuild. Evo3 gears and shafts are known to be stronger so you can swap those out too. An evo3 5th gear is longer and will help with increasing top speed too.

Since you are in socal, road race engineering in santa fe springs could rebuild your trans for you too. They might be a little more expensive but you don't have to worry about shipping and they're close by in case something happens after the fact. You might have to give them a call though for pricing because I don't think they have any prices or rebuild options online.
