I am looking to buy an EVO III transmission to replace the destroyed tranny in my 2g AWD. I have 2 questions:

1) I am having trouble finding one, any suggestions?

2) will the EVO III transfer case and rear LSD bolt on with no modifications to my drive shafts(s)?
Thanks

bringing back from the dead!!!!

Ok so I know that the EVO 1-9, DSM , and GVR4 differentials are interchangeable... JUST THE DIFFERENTIAL.. I know the housing, spyder gears, pinions , ect need to stay the same from the 2g for it to work.. I am purchasing a EVO8 LSD diff and I have 2 questions...

1) will I need to remove the viscous LSD in transmission or is that only for thw front differential?

2) I know you have to use non-lsd axles in the new LSD differential, but am I wrong to think the passenger side lsd axle is the same as the non-lsd?
