evo 8 rear differential question

I am going to look at a 1995 gsx parts car later today. The previous owner said it has a evo 8 diff in it. Whats the difference between stock and evo. How hard is it to swap with the stock unit?

doubtful it has e8 diff. they are 3.3 ratio same as A/T DSM. but the housings are different. they dont swap.
