The other day the rear passenger side e-brake cable stuck due to the low temperature. The car was driven home at a low rate of speed and the tire only slid when it went across ice. I have an AWD with an LSD. The brake loosened up after some WD-40. Today when I drove the car, it didn't seem to pull as hard. Is it possible that I fried my rear differential?

no if the brake was applied..even lightly, it still let the rear wheels spin.
If you want to check it out...take off the casing and look at the spur gear in the diff. You can also change your fluid as well...to make sure that everything is working properly.
If the gear is messed up..you will see shavings of metal..ground down edges on the teeth of the gears, or missing pieces of the gears themselves. But it doesnt sound like any damage was done to the rear end. good luck man.

Well the e-brake was locked all the way down on the rear passenger wheel. The brake was very hot and you could smell burnt brakes when I got home.
