I really dont want to buy a sub frame. I need the 3 rear Differential Bushings. I read the post about the Aluminum ones but cant seem to find how they feel when you drive. I forget the name of the company UG or something like that, that made them but not anymore. I have searched and searched. Please point me in the right direction to get some. Last call i made was to enegy suspen.

I got the rear subframe and mustache bar bushings from tunersnation.com and they are stiff as hell. I can only imagine how much better they will be than stock. I still haven't got car finished due to waiting on transmission parts and motor at machine shop, but just from looking I'd say they are way better.

Those are the Alumunum ones I metioned. Are they worth a crap? has anyone put them on there car?

I didn't buy those personally, but they were on my buddies car, and they felt ok. It just takes away a little dampening. Definately a tighter feel.

Those 1G supframe bushing s can be made one grade softer if needed.

Update:

Slowboy just emailed me that they are out of stock! I called them and it's a no go. Road Race Engineering has no idea either. The UMS ones are not made anymore. Gonna keep looking because I refuse to buy the sub frame piece for $800+ from Mitsu.

UMS was the first company I called and they don't make them anymore, they are redesigning them. I went ahead and ordered them anyway from slowboy in hopes that they still have some in stock(crossing my fingers) if not I may have no choice but to order the Aluminum ones. Thanks alot for everyones help :)

i talked to them too... im bummed

and theres no way im gonne buy the whole sub frame either LOL.. ima gonna keep looking for some and im gonna keep callin UMS and bugging them. i really dont want the solid ones. but i may not have any other options:sosad:

I've got the UMS ones installed in my Talon now. Had them for about 2years maybe. More road noise than stock but probably way quieter than full metal inserts.

I don't know why they would be redesigning them. These went in fine and are holding up fine too.

You could always ask Tony who was making them for him and go direct to them.

I am getting new Clutch and Flywheel in so for now I am going with Aluminum ones until I cant get something better.

Man, that looks like a market. I wonder how many other people are looking for some good bushings. I'm going to tap a couple resources, and see if I can't get some made.

LOL i pondered the same thing but no time.

I got the ones for the 1G supframe made, I know I can get these made of Poly Urethane (soft or hard) but the only problem is I would have to get about 20 bushings made.
How may would be interested in a set.

Heres a couple of threads and an email address of a guy i think used to make them.
I would phone dvdtfab as they dont have them on there web site but im sure they make them if you ask

does dvdtfab make the poly ones or just the soild ones? also dan as well what type can he make.. i dont want solid ones i want polyurethane. i really dont want to deal with the road and gear noise

Sorry mate i think there the aluminum ones.
I have knowing people make there own Polly bushes. You could get the metal inserts that the bolts go through and using a liquid Polly or some sort of rubber and pore it into the hole on the carrier temporarily blocking off the back till the liquid sets. I know it sounds insane but ive heard people do this on engine mounts, and I'm almost certain there's a thread on it in hear somewhere. May be worth a try if your dispirit.

just found what i think i had read

Ok, I've found these and it gives you the part number that they replace.
However these are for an evo but if the part number is the same as ours then they should fit right.
I looked on the part finder, which you can down load from this site, and i entered the part number and it came up as rear diff bushes, you might one to get a second opinion on this before you buy but i think it looks good for what you need. Let me know what you think.
Oh and there the fourth ones down on the right side part n.o. MB809334

The EVO ones dont look big enough, hard to tell. I already have the Aluminum ones, my car gets new clutch & flywhell, aluminum bushing and some other minor stuff on wednesday, I'll let you all know how it turns out.
