can anyone tell me how much oil goes in the rear differential...im going to change the oil but i need to know how much it takes. sorry for the dumb question...just want to make sure.

The transmission takes 2.4 quarts, the transfer case takes .5 quarts, and the rear differential takes .9 quarts. What you really wanna do is fill it up completely until it starts to come out of the top.

yeah i know how to do it...just did the rear differential and transfer case...all i need now is the tranny but that royal purple is expensive but well worth it...i always use royal purple...and its already running smoother...thnx for the info
