tps adjusted correct?

alright i just took off my tb cause i need to replace the shaft seals.. and for fun i checked the ohms before tearing it apart and i wanted to see if it was close to what it should be. for the first reading (pin 1 and 4) it was 4770ohms and the other one (pins 2 and 4 and open trottle) it was 4920 ohms.. (throttle closed on 2, and 4) .72 so 720 ohms. i know they should be at 5k each or .9 but i was wounding how +/- it could be

I asked the same thing recently and never got a response. I'm curious about it too. Here was my thread: TPS reads less then 5k ohms

yeah, i read ## thread and i think you might have miss-read the vfaq.. it doesnt say 9k ohms it says .9k, and i wish there was a right up too i know here TPS Adjustment it tells you how to adjust it

I understand completely how to adjust it. I just want to know how low, below 5k ohms, is out of range.

The Spec in the FSM is 3.5k to 6.5k ohms between pins 1 and 4.

The VFAQ is wrong for all generations.
