Torqueing Camshafts

the ridges that hold the camshalfts in what are those bolts that are on there suppose to be torqued at I tried searching and the haynes manual says nothing about it.

12-15 ft lbs.

But be careful when you are torqing those bolts down, large torque wrenches are often inaccurate at low torque loads and you may not hear the 'click' and end up stripping out the aluminum.

i swear to god in my haynes manual it tells me to torque those bolts down to 110 ft lbs, and when i tried that, i stripped one hole, and broke one of the other bolts, haynes sucks

Wow, God NO. I too have the haynes manual, about 6 of them actually, and a Chilton manual. Neither say 110 ft. lbs. Maybe the Head bolts but not the cam bolts.
