I couldn't find anything searching :(

I'm installing an FP Big28 and porting my manifold and 02 housing. I have everything stripped down to the head (studs removed, etc.) and am waiting on parts (gaskets, washers, studs, nuts, bolts) in the mail.

One thing that I've been wondering/worrying about is how to properly torque down the lower row of nuts when I reinstall the mani, as I don't think that I can get my torque wrench+socket in there for those three lower nuts. I have some crows foot wrenches to use with the torque wrench, but I haven't checked to see if they'll give me enough clearance.

I'd greatly appreciate any info on how others have done it. If I can fit in there with a 12mm crows foot and torque wrench, then do I have to correct the torque setting?

On a side note, looking into the turbo end of the mani where that metal "flap" separates the flow of the 2+3 exhaust from the 1+4 I noticed that there is a hairline crack at the edge of this flap on one end. It propogates down the length of that "flap" toward the top of the mani, but I don't see any cracks on the outside/top of the mani. Below is a picture.

There's also a very fine radial crack in the ring of metal at the outlet. A picture of this one is below.

Any advise on whether or not I should worry about this?

Thanks!

just get the feel using the t wrench on the nuts you have access to and go by that "feel" on the rest of them. These are not critical but obviously don't overtighten by a massive amt or you will pull the threads out of the head.
