vfaq.com will become a good friend of yours. Be sure to change your oil, spark plugs, coolant, check the coolant for any oil/ anything that shouldnt be there. Do a boost leak test. Do you have a boost gauge? What turbo does it have? Does the car have any form of adjusting the fuel? (Safc, dsmlink...)



Also, urbansmoker, I can barely afford these new top hats and pay bills. Aint going to have it tuned for another month. Even then, I probably wont run it, because its got to survive over the summer at least without any major issues.

Stock turbo amd yes i have an aftermarket boost guage. Not sure about the fuel adjusting. Im gonna get on doing all of those things you listed along with belts. Thanks for all the input! Im excited to see if its 6 or 7 bolt. Ill keep you posted and post some pics in a seperate thread. Keep an eye out!!
 
Best get dsmlink or an safc at least. Check out ca.dsm.org and the classifieds here for dsmlink. 18 PSI on a T25 is just a hairdryer. Too much hot air. Turn the boost down if he installed a boost controller. Or delete the boost controller and run it back into the stock boost solenoid. If you pickup a FMIC or anything, I have a GM MAF and a MAFT you could buy. But do the maintenance first, get a wideband, then get dsmlink, exhaust, bigger injectors, then look out for a 16g or whatever size turbo you are looking for.

A method of controlling your fuel should always be a first step in modifying.

Also, stupid me, I realized that I forgot to remove one of the top air plugs, so the wastegate couldn't open :ohdamn: That should be fixed now. But first lets replace those tophats and bushings.
 
Ziggy? Problem is i dont have any parts not even the konis, was gonna buy the whole deal installed from them since i don't have a spring compressor or anything. And they are the only shop authorized to SELL it complete.

Would eibach pro springs work with DG? Thats what i currently have
 
I'm omw to Florida for a week and if this snow isn't gone when I get back I'm gonna go postal put snow tires on my eclipse and drive it into lake ontario
 
110 was 80 c16 120 both for 5 gallons

I dont think the 110 is something i can get consistantly though and it's no VP

Yeah my car is all gutted and shit right now haha trying to plot out roll cage status since i guarintee I'll get booted off the track after one run on sunday hahah i havent ran the 1/4 yet but i have no doubt the car has 10s in it as it sits.
 
If your looking for dsm's Urban, travel to brantford, Theirs 4 talons/eclipse's, 2 early rhd evo's and a bunch of subarus to pick on LOL.

We usually cruise the hamilton burly area, head north burlington on the back roads, some good twistys up their, or just run the access rds on the mountain.

no one usually brings their cars out till about may when all the salt and bullshit is off the roads.
