Also, we are on the world price for gas because of our government and apparerntly if we dont pay that much, all the oil companies will go broke.

The oil sands is some dirty oil, it takes longer to clean.
There's billions of barrels of oil here off the coast of NL that they are drilling and some they haven't even taped.

What is fuel prices over there? We're around 1.18 a liter where I live right now but we also get .05 to .15 jumps a lot to.
The U.S. Government has the Canadian Government in their pocket and have had for decades, look at the Avro Arrow. Got destroyed because the U.S. made threats towards us, didn't like not being the top of the food chain. Nothings going to change unless we as a country do something about it.

Surprisingly that's about on part with NL. I think regular was 1.32/L when I filled up the DD last Monday.
