Timing light

hey guys, I needed to set my car at 750 for idle and as it is now at BTDC 5degrees it idles at 1k, I retarded it back so its 5degrees to the T mark on the cover, is this ok. Now my car idles at 750 fine and I can pass emissons, also will this affect any of my emissons? a/f anything?

My Biss screw is all the way down also.

You want to be 5º BTDC which is the "hash" mark between the "T" and the "10" when you have the timing connector grounded per the manual.

Your BISS setting...should be bottomed out lightly as to NOT damage the screw, loosen 2 revolutions and you should be pretty close, a little tweak one way or the other should put you at 750rpm idle.

Make sure you have no leaks between the metering device and the O2 sensor.
