timing HELP

That could be normal depending on how long it ran. O2 sensors don't start reading correctly until they are at a certain temp. You have to give it a minute for the heater to get it hot, if it already was good and warm, you have a bad sensor or wiring.

It wouldn't cause the engine to rev, but it could cause poor performance and rough idle. IF your O2 sensor reads 0v all the time, your ECU is going to max out the fuel trims, meaning it's going to richen it up as much as possible based on conditions. Does it continue to rev up and stall when you start it?

Just out of curiosity, where did you hook up the boost leak tester?

It only revs up and stalls for the first 10 minutes after starting and then it stops. But what about the weird sputter from the exhaust. my car sounds sick.

I am having basically the same exact problem. My car will crank and idle at about 2000rpm and idle on its own until it gets warm and the idle goes down and down until the car sputters and dies. When I stop at a redlight or something the car will die. Once it gets to operating temp it just will not hold an idle. My O2 volts read at 0.03v constantly on the logger and never changes even when the car is warm. I think my logger isnt working correctly because it will log at idle but if I try to log while driving it just locks up and it wont even let me monitor anything. I did the ohm test on the ISC and it checked out fine. I am using palm m505 with palmnstein. My only mods are open cone filter and UICP. While idling, the logger shows my timing all over the place, from 9 to like 16. I dont understand why it will log while sitting still and idling, but not when I'm going down the road. ??
