So I recently changed my timing belt and everything is fine to an extent, Im pretty sure my timing belt is a little too tight because there are some odd marks in between the teeth of the belt on the top layer of the belt but I don't hear any whining from it being too tight. A 5/32 drill bit just barely doesn't fit and I was wondering if I could just back off the tensioner pulley slightly instead of compressing the auto tensioner and putting the grenade pin back in and starting from there. Also if I can just adjust the tensioner pulley slightly is there a specific position the pin holes on the pulley supposed to sit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
