Just picked up a 95 Talon TSI and the dude who owned it did an egr vavlve bypass and showed me how he did it. I want to unbypass this because it causes a check engine light can anyone help me out? I see three flanges he plugged in top of the throttle body labeled P, E, and A where do I need to hook them up to and where should I get the hose to do it?

You see 3 plugs?

Guess what we see........
The answers nothing.
So how can we help?
Coming from the egr valve I figured they all had it. I’ll take a picture here in a few minutes sorry

See there are three tubes there?

My car is a 95 Talon. I attached a picture of what he did, there’s three flanges on top of the throttle body that he blocked off. I’m not sure what benefit that gives should I leave it or fix it?

I linked, and now uploaded, your answer. you may want to pop the hood and look really hard at your engine

The throttle body is in this diagram

Okay thank you to both of you, why would this bypass be done anyways?

A few reasons off the top of my head:
  • Failed emissions component(s)
  • Reduced chances for vacuum leaks
  • Visual aesthetics

Okay thank you, it has a check engine light and he said it was due to having bypassed the egr valve. So is there anyway to get rid of the check engine? Or is the only way to fix it to put the stuff back

Assuming everything is in working order, you would need to hook it all back up. ECMLink is another solution, albeit, not the cheapest of the two.
