Trying to decipher your post, so do you mean it got “really hot” and broke in half? Seems unusual.
It then sounds like your referring to the cruise control pulley box. Did you already get a replacement for the broken cable? Perhaps a photo of your issue would help others respond. Different years have different set ups, so please give more info.

hello group iam looking for the part number for the throttle cable that goes from the throttle body to the cruise control box i just don't know the part number or where to find that?

If the CABLE itself got hot, (it's not suppose to) I would make sure the engine has all proper grounds to it from the battery. Just a tip. It sounds like the motor is trying to ground thru the cable (not good at all).

I hadn't even thought of that! It would seem it would take a fair amount of current to heat it up that much, but could be the right explanation. I couldn't figure how a cable would get that hot, since they reside back behind the engine, above the fuel lines (so if it got that hot....yikes!!!!)
Getting any new cables that work with cruise control for these cars is a fiction, from my research. Looks like Black98DSM may be able to help you with this. I was lucky to get some spares for my 90 w/ cruise from another member (and those are single-year specific, so even more of a unicorn now). Both instances are great examples of the comradery among the DSM community. I kind of suspect that there must be some compatible cables for some other similar-vintage Jap import cars w/ cruise (or perhaps w/o), but no clue how to find which one (and still might be obsolete if there are).
Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

I actually had that exact thing happen on an old Honda Accord we had and the cable melted the sheath at about mid throttle. It was a bit scary and took me a while to figure out WTF was going on, but that was it, so first hand experience is what I was drawing from (but I'm old so there's quite a bit of clutter in my mind).
I would DEFINITELY add a ground to the engine before repairing the cable.
@Kyleb2021 , does the car still start and run? My Honda did but it was still grounding thru the accelerator cable and melted it to the sheath, stuck in one spot and wouldn't move either way.
