420A Cruise control Throttle body cable

So I called two different Mitsubishi dealerships looking for part MB942965 any how the parts people all tell me this part is discontinued and no longer available. Any how I did call AutoZone and they have does anyone no what size throttle cable I need they had like three Different sizes available 24 a 36 and a 17? I do have cruise control and I have the 420A non turbo motor
