Thermal problem/question

Maybe its your DP corey. Mine fits perfect. i have the stock dp with a test pipe and look.

It probably is the DP, because I don't see anyone else having fitment issues with the Thermal. BUT if I need to cut the neck down off anyways, why not kill two birds with one stone?

Also it isn't just the way the bumper is shaped. The rubber exhaust hangers are streched pretty far too. I had to force it on.

I had to measure this damm thing today cause it looked really small.And yep where the cat bolts onto the catback it's 2 inches, and the rest is all 3.

Wierd I thought.I might have to call thermal and ask them what's up, and why it is like that.

FWIW -- my '90 GSX is 2" stock from the O2 housing all the way to the resonator. I've since bumped the down pipe and cat to 2.5" (with ported 2G O2 housing), but then I necked it down to the OE exhaust.

Yep, I was expecting it to be 2.25" from reading, but it's definitely not. A huge difference from my aftermarket 2.5" DP and cat. Here's the adapter I used to neck down to the OE pipe (it's a butt fit via welded flanges).
