Hey..well im trying to buy my 2g..I want a GSX , But damn they are hard to find..I find alot of GST's..But nearly no GSX's. I love the idea of having AWD..Should i wait to find the GSX..Is it really worth it?? I need some owner input here..Thanks -
 
i owned a 97 gst fro about a year and kicked myself in the balls everytime i looked at the car for not getting a gsx/tsi. so after another year of searching i got a gsx. and its been worth it ever since.
 
Absolutely worth it. Your first wet drive will convince you, perhaps permanently. I have a 1G and a 2G; just got back from a snow run to Tahoe in the 2G, "Hi, chainboys~" as I cruised on past. And in the dry, they just grip and grip.
 
got my gsx....under 10k perfect condition....the second one i looked at :D (bought without seeing/test driving)
 
I got a GS-T. Never really needed AWD here. Sure it helps on launches but I don't go to the track much. Buy a GS-T, learn how to take care of it and fix it, then buy a EVO. That's my plan. GS-T project car and hopefully EVO daily driver.

Breaking the tires loose every now and then is fun anyways. Nothing better then getting pissed at some one and peeling away :) (like the jackass with his gf that was crossing a street to go check out a accident and walked 1/2 mph past my car while I tried not to stall in 1st, his freaking gf even beat him across the street)....
 
Damn some of you guys got some killer deals on your cars.

I paid $14,700 for my 1999 GST with 47K miles. I guess it was $25K brand new with my options.

I got hooked up with new tires and brakes though, I guess the guy before my bought it from carmax, he put 10K miles on it then sold it to me :thumb:
 
Id give a kidney to have AWD in my camaro. Smoking the tires used to be cool...until I had to buy new tires. 700$ later im thinking....well maybe i shouldnt spin them so much. Not to mention the 900$ i paid for the rims so i could run bigger tires.

Ever try driving a 300hp camaro in west virginia winters? it fun...real fun :rolleyes:
 
I wish I had a GSX. But I am happy with my GST. I am not building a drag car, but just something quick that looks good.
 
Try www.dsmtrader.com. I found my car 96 TSi AWD in under a week. I flew out of state to buy it. The plane ticket was only an extra $175, so it was worth it. Plus, I got a nice long test drive on the way home. =)
 
vancouver washington is not canada and if he said he sold it for that much its possible some people are really stupid.
 
1996 Eclipse GST. 77,000 miles, all power, black exterior, gray leather inteior. Has 1997-1999 conversion done. Including: both bumpers, headlights, rear lights, sideskirts etc. Great condition. Normal wear inside, runs great. Also has blitz turbo timer, strut bar, and 3" drop. Has talon awd rims.

Anybody know what I could get? Thanks.

Turned it around, took the money to pay off loan and bought the 95 GSX I have now for $5,000 (stock). :)

And this all happen about 4 months ago.

Oh wait, did I include a cd player in it also? LOL. I mean, the car did run perfect. The kid gave me allllll CASH. Well, his dad did.

your on crack kid. even if i tried to sell my car (custom 2 12 sub enclosure, full bodykit, lowered on r-2 coilovers, 17 in rims with new tires, n-1 exhaust, hedder, and a bunch of other shit) i doubt that in todays market if i could even get 7k.

no one will buy it for 7k, maybe if you put some vinyl graphics on it you could sell it to some 16 year old that just got his liscense
