I'd buy it in a heartbeat for $1200. I bought my Lasr when it was n/t for $2,000 the converted it. Lasers are getting pretty rare
 
I would jump all over it for $1200 if it runs and drives good and passes your inspection. I'm assuming its fwd?
Bring another person knowledgable with cars, a second set of eyes is always good, especially if they're aren't the one buying the car!
 
I know i really need to buy it, but i need to get rid of my 1.8 first.
Also after ive done all the maintence what mods should i start.
Intake, exhaust. After i get the minor stuff should i buy a new turbo?
Just wanting to know anybody with a turbo 1g dsm, what they suggest for mods, also if you could list your horsepower if you know it w/mods.
It would be greatly appreciated.

What are your power goals?
 
im looking to get into the low 200hp maybe 220hp.

Then the 14b is all you will ever need. get a turbo back 2.5" exhaust, hardpipes, open K&N, and maybe 13-14 psi on the stock fuel system and you will be putting out considerabely more than your goal
 
No need for a turbo upgrade, the 14b (stock turbo on a 1G) will more than satisfy your power goals. Just do some basic mods that I listed before (maintenance first) and you'll be putting out some nice power. If your use to a 1.8 then a 4G63 Laser with basic mods is going to feel like a space shuttle taking off LOL

On another note that car is a steal if it is in good mechanical shape. You could ###### make a niiice profit on ebay if you wanted to sell it....Hell i'd buy it right now for 2K

Can you get the money from someone to pick it up quick? Especially since you posted the car on this site and you just exposed it to the Vultures
 
Oh yes im picking it up this week, he took it off for sale.
but this is what he says is wrong with it.

Rear brake is sticking and has a oil leak in the turbo return line, will include new gasket.



Interior has a little wear on the seats but looks fine. Headliner if coming down like they all did. Comes with a extra trans, extra fans/radiator, extra alt, extra starter, extra power steering pump, extra intake tube and airflow, extra intake and throttle body, extra front axles, extra ac pump. Has a new o2 also.

Does anyone know how hard it would be to fix the oil leak in the turbo return line??
Anyhelp would be appreciated.

their are plenty of fast and good looking honda's. Just because a few ricers drive a honda doesnt mean you should try to knock all honda's. :toobad:
 
It tagged mine for $1400 and it came with the Galant VR4 motor with the B16G attached. I had to take the 510's out and put in 450s to match the ECU - thing was running awful rich.

I also had a 1.8 before, and from going from 1.8's to this turbo road warrior was quite the jump to get used to - let alone a heavier clutch and tranny that comes stock with turbos..

I got it with 161K on it. Now, it has almost 171k. I need a new PS rack (leaks) and rear brakes down the road.

If you get it, do the belts first-get that important part out of the way. Then worry on doing the mods.

I went out to a yard and tagged a couple of good roof liners since they're not that all hard to replace, yet some members will take the liner out, remove the old cloth and foam rubber underneath and recover the fragile shell itself with new covering-to really personalize their rides.

Yea, don't waste your time competing and racing Hondas-leave them alone since all that causes is trouble.

Always compete against yourself .. make it always better in your direction. (Just don't put on a crapass wing on that vehicle! Mine came with a horrible looking one that I immediately yanked off, sold it to a ricer wannabe and had to go out to a yard and get another liftgate, repainted it to my stock color ((Raspberry Red)) since whoever put that wing on, don't know how to use a drill very well...didn't want to waste the time making the rear deck look good again)

Okay, buy the car first then we'll go from there.

your oil leak sounds like a small problem at the most.

the headliner can be fixed in 2 hrs with 8 dollars spent at auto zone.

is it 5spd or auto?
AWD or FWD?
 
1Ga (1990-91) Ply's came out only with 5sp and FWD. Autos and AWD didn't pop out of the woodwork until the 1Gb's of 1992 until they became extinct in mid 1994.

This guy knows his laser history :applause: ;)
