Lol I noticed that too, I dont get why some people let their cars get all nasty. I wash mine 1-2 times a week and wax it every other month.

IMHO I think that the price is a bit much. I read some people saying that the parts alone would add up to at least that price and probably more but upgraded cars don't hold their value by cost of the parts put in it. I was able to find a 90 GSX in mint condition with minor upgrades (EBC, larger UICP, and a few other smaller upgrades) for 2800. Granted it's almost 20 years old, it only had 56,000 original miles on it. If you look around and patiently wait, you'll find some good deals. Try looking at papers vs. EBAY, people on EBAY generally know they can get a bit more than these cars are worth because there is a market for them. I say wait

I decided to hold off, I agree with what you say about people wanting too much money due to heavy mods. The truth is any car just doesnt hold its value when its modded and I felt even if i talked him down to 5900 or 6k, that it was still too much. I will keep looking

thanks for all the help

Your BMW is nice. I'd keep it. Like most people have said, wait for a nicer AWD version to trade with, if you must have a DSM.

I agree full on with what everyone else is saying. I mean I know they are totally different but my dad paid 17k for a 94 740 not to long ago. A nice 2g awd can run high 7s low 9s and I think your car is def. worth that.

Tell him you want to take it for your mecahnic to look at it and drop the pan quick :p

I think thats way too much DSM for a first owner. I recommend going something stock or closer to it. I would only suggest a modded one for you IF you have a gooooood friend who is a DSMer and won't be annoyed by how much you'll be bothering him to fix your problems :)

its a clean 2g but the guy is running a stock 2g bov:ohdamn::ohdamn:
the car should be leaking a good amount out of that bov

That's definitely a 1G bov?

The swap looks clean, The engine has prothane mounts so if you do trade expect a lot of engine vibration. I'm a little worried as to why the battery terminals are off in the picture but in my honest opinion, don't trade for a modded car. You get the most pride and excitement out of modding the car yourself. Not to mention you could sell your BMW, buy a stock GSX and mod it yourself and still have money left over.

Also, I don't think a GST is worth your BMW.

Good idea, you will be happy when the day comes and you have done every mod yourself. :thumb:

I hear ya, I know the power would not be too much for me. Before my BMW I had a 1991 Twin Turbo 300zx pushing about 400hp to the ground.

Modding your own car is always a plus as well, makes it your own.

I might be buying this laser.

He says it runs strong and tranny is good too.
Has 133K on it.
Set to 9lbs of boost right now.
I have a 93 laser right now but its a 1.8:notgood: and im getting rid of it
Here is some pictures of the car im looking at buying just wanted to see what you guys thought.
Thanks.
