Honestly I wouldn't buy either seeing as they are both fwd. The first one is clean but its getting close to crankwalk time for a 7-bolt motor. The second one is kinda questionable, it looks a little ricer and idk about the add itself, when you put that the car is capable of 600hp and then throw around some more numbers it kinda makes me feel like they're bs'ing, I wouldn't trust it. All in all just save your money and get an un-modded gsx.
 
1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T
Chassis has about 200k miles, engine and trans. are pretty fresh.
1991 6 Bolt motor swap.

16G turbo, ported o2 housing

He wants to trade me for my 1995 BMW 540i
 
It really comes down to is if the car runs well and will smog (if you have that in Oregon). All the upgrades sound ok, but you're the only one with the eyes to see if they have been done correctly. I think your trade would be fair if you really are looking for a car like this. Good Luck.

its a clean 2g but the guy is running a stock 2g bov:ohdamn::ohdamn:
the car should be leaking a good amount out of that bov

I would love to but I am just worried.
My BMW has about 110k miles, I just spent almost 2grand on motor work, its sitting on 19inch deep dish staggard TSW thruxton wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich KDW Gforce tires.

I don't want to trade for something that isnt worth as much as my car. He wants a straight trade.
 
Well then what does he mean by engine/trans are pretty fresh. Find miles braaaaah.

Ok, what I saw was that you have a really clean nice bmw and he wants to trade. He is offering a fwd vehicle that has a tubular exhaust manifold (cons - very hot, can't install heat shield, have to be careful of overheating issues), a long route intercooler or is it a smic still? He's running a 1g bov (mine is discolored like that) and they are good for much higher boost than 12. It almost sounds like he's running off of wastegate pressure because he didn't mention fuel injectors nor something to control fuel or even an upgraded fuel pump. He may have just thrown the 16G on it or he may be having problems. I'd say walk away. Maybe if it was a GSX with a better exhaust manifold and a FMIC with the same mods, but thus far, I'd pass on that deal.

Don't let my word be the final one, but I'd say you should get more than just a GST for that.

Hopefully you could find a stock AWD.

Not only the fact it isn't a gsx, you can well prep a gst as well, but add to the fact that god knows how ragged on that dsm has been through.
Wait it out and enjoy the beamer.

1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD, near mint
90,000 miles
Extremely nice leather interior, like new tires
New within the last 5,000 miles:
* rebuilt head
* Greddy belts
* tensioner
* water pump
* alternator
* rear pads and rotors
* clutch, pressure plate and fly wheel
* HKS air filter, but have original

The car also has what I believe are Racing Hart c4 wheels, which are no longer produced and worth a nice amount of money in themselves. Id take them off and sell them seperately but I just dont have the time!!

Could use exhaust and center carrier bearing, but is completely driveable.
Recently a strange noise starting from the bottom end of the engine. Have no idea what it is, but the car still drives fantastically. The noise I am talking about stops when the car gets up to about 3k RPM.

I'm moving to Hawaii in a couple weeks and need this car gone ASAP. So no trades, sorry. Please serious inquiries only. I am willing to take a best offer too, if you have cash and have near to what I am asking, I am ready to sell.
