how many miles are on it? I'm assuming the body is mint and stuff like that. I'd think you could easily get $10k Canadian (w/e that is american)

I did some searching, but most recent thread pertaining to this was from 2004. So here's what I'm looking at:

1998 Eclipse GSX, 91,000 miles, priced at $9900

Car is 100 percent stock

Does this sound like a good deal? If not, what amount should I try to get it down to to make it a good deal?

Last question (very newbie), what turbo comes with these motors? I think it's the 14b but I'm not positive.

I mean I dont know GSX's are more harder to find then a gst. It has low miles. But for me I wouldn't buy it for that price I mean sounds like a good deal but if thats the case I'll finance an evo

$9900 is way overpriced IMO. Especially for the mileage. It better be the cleanest car in the state to even consider that. The stock turbo is a t25. Your going to have alot of people telling you to shop around. They should be in the 6-7k range and that is still not pocket change.

WAY OVER PRICED!!!! bought my 97 gsx for 3600, and its also bone stock

here was the cars.com post, yeah dont even try to buy it, its already sitting in my garage

eh maybe, if its got no shaft play and its all good to go, porting does its job also. but i found a big 16g for 369.99 with a jb and all fittings and a oil feed line.

I brought my 95 gsx for only 900.00 but it had a bad turbo and I drove a little ways to get it. I would look lot more but don't give up. You will find one and maybe even better

Gosh, for that price, you can find a 2G thats got over 300awhp for 5000.

I agree with those guys...the Mileage is quite a bit too high in my opinion....

My Northstar white/black leather only has 60k miles on the thing...But I did trade my highly modded 1g for it....God I wish I still had that car....

Been thinking of getting rid of mine for quite some time...

More like 400whp on the stock internals. The T25 turbo might just get you into the 250 range, but you'd be better with the 14b off a manual 1g, the 16g, or the T28 if you want a direct bolt on.
