how many miles are on it? I'm assuming the body is mint and stuff like that. I'd think you could easily get $10k Canadian (w/e that is american)
 
yea I'd say you'd easily get $10-12k Canadian
 
I did some searching, but most recent thread pertaining to this was from 2004. So here's what I'm looking at:

1998 Eclipse GSX, 91,000 miles, priced at $9900

Car is 100 percent stock

Does this sound like a good deal? If not, what amount should I try to get it down to to make it a good deal?

Last question (very newbie), what turbo comes with these motors? I think it's the 14b but I'm not positive.

no thats wayyyy to much I seen the car your talkin about its super clean but its not what you want if your gonna mod it...
 
$9900 is way overpriced IMO. Especially for the mileage. It better be the cleanest car in the state to even consider that. The stock turbo is a t25. Your going to have alot of people telling you to shop around. They should be in the 6-7k range and that is still not pocket change.

As for the t25, what's the most power it can handle? Would it be reasonable to get 250-300whp with stock internals?
 
damn 10k for 91k miles

min had 116k and i got it for about 4k
 
I agree with those guys...the Mileage is quite a bit too high in my opinion....

My Northstar white/black leather only has 60k miles on the thing...But I did trade my highly modded 1g for it....God I wish I still had that car....

Been thinking of getting rid of mine for quite some time...

More like 400whp on the stock internals. The T25 turbo might just get you into the 250 range, but you'd be better with the 14b off a manual 1g, the 16g, or the T28 if you want a direct bolt on.
