Forget the exhaust.

Get a 14b, upic, 1g bov, 190 pump, and a boost controller. You'll be destroying any 2g with an exhaust and upped psi.
I second this

agreed. You might even have some money left over if you're smart about it :thumb:

...Or he could just get a 50 trim and some 660s and be done with it
Find those both for $500 hundred dollars and I'll buy them.

Why not buy something that will get you towards your goal. If you want something other than a 14b or 1 bov, you'll just end up re-buyin them later down the road... not too smart.

I'm guessing you have a boost gauge since you say you're running 13psi. fuel pump, the stock bov sucks, get a type s or whatever brand you prefer, UICP. Just be smart and get something that works towards your goal, not something that will give a little thrill for the moment.

yea .... if only it were that easy. I hope you were joking.
Yes I'm joking. Just poking fun at people who suggest (regardless of previous mods or goals) to "just get a 50 trim and 660s and be done with it"...like it's that easy

I would not go with a bigger turbo yet. You wont feel its real power without the supporting mods. My stock turbo blew so I upgraded to a fpbig28 before I had the proper mods. Go with upper intercooler pipes and a 1g bov. The stock 2g is shit

looking @ his mods he's already got CAI, boost controller, and a 1g BOV. exhaust would help, a 14B would help. a local exhaust shop should press bend an exhaust for you for around $300, you can getta a 14B for $50, but you're gonna need new waterlines, a J-pipe, and oil lines. so if you can get all that for $150, you're set. I'm sure you could.

That'll get you around the 14.0 or 13.8-9 range depending on your driving/traction.

When i had a uicp/1G bov, intake, boost controller, 3" mandrel exhaust, 14B, 255 pump, and a few other small things, i ran a 14.0. and i'm all wheel drive. 60' times were 1.8

you'll need a little more than $500 to break 13's with an FWD. my exhaust alone was $1000.

cat back.....hands down. i've seen the N1 cat back somewhere for 495$ plus shipping and handling....shop around.

if your not impressed by mandrel bent pipes.....you can have a full cat back built at a muffler shop for less than $400......quality may not be the best though.

plzzzzzzz be quiet u should not spend 500$ on a cat back exhaust, i dont care who the maker is, the simplist way to do it is just order a muffler u like from ebay, take it and ur car to a local muffler shop, and have them fab up a 3" mandrel bent exhaust that fits ur car perfectly. for the whole cat-back it shouldnt cost more than 250-300$. I find it so stupid when people pay 500$ for an apexi catback that consists of 2 3" mandrel pipes and a n1 straight through muffler. its just simple piping that any person with a bender can fab up for nothing.

Take that money and spend it on what u would notice the most, if u enjoy the sound of an aftermarket bov then replace that one with the terrible 2g because u'll also gain power by doing that, while ur at it get some upgraded uicp flanged for the bov u choose, with the remaining money try and get as much of ur exhaust done as possible. Do some research and look for deals on used parts.

1,000 for exhaust..... that's all? HAHA i paid 1,350 for my turbo back exhaust and it isn't even full 3 inch. But I bet it sounds better than anything you ever heard before haha. Imagine a mustang mixed with a dying llama and you got my exhaust note.

ported o2 housing-free
apexi n1 downpipe-200 shipped
3" catback- 30 bucks from napa (press bent by a buddy, but it hardly kinks at all, and its pretty much straight except by the gas tank, it bends ever so slightly and almost doesn't neckdown at all, it hangs low, but hardly noticeable)
ebay n1 style muffler- 60 bucks on ebay

there it is, 290 dollar turboback with some custom work. Its on my car and works good.

I am thinking about cam gears, fpr, intake, evoIII exhaust manifold, or safc II. I currently have a turboxs dual stage mbc, free mods, and 255lph pump. And if cam gears or intake what kind do you suggest. Or if there is something else that you think I should get let me know.

I think the majority would say go with the afc and tune, especially since you have fuel mods.

You have a DSM, not a Honda, so I wouldnt worry about geting cam gears as one of your first mods. Check your fuel pressure. It might be too high because of the 255 pump. If it is, then get an adjustable regulator. If you dont need a AFPR, then I'd get a logger. If you already have a logger, then I'd get put that money toward a downpipe or cat-back.

exactly...

id get a afpr if i were you...that fuel pump has got to be over running your stock system...i have been told that you will not hit fuel cut on a stock turbo...i am not sure about it...it came from people wiser then me...so i doubt you have reached your fuel systems limit...a logger is going to be a good thing to have down the road...

if it were me it would be inbetween the logger and afcII...and then down the road get the afpr if you dont need it that bad now...

Thanks for all the replies. I think I am going to get the afpr. And with the money left I will get some kind of guage. I thought 16 psi was about the max for the stock pump.

K I have $500 to spend.

Of course I'm getting the Walbro 255lph.

109$ total from SBR.

I have a few questions and I would love suggestions from you guys like once b4.

My first question is on FPRs' ( http://www.slowboyracing.com/shop.php?sid=&cat=85 ) What is the difference between the Aeromotive thats $135 and the B&M thats $60? What should I get?

Also anyone seen any better priced injectors other than the 880cc's that 16g-gsx told me about on EBay? I'm looking for 880cc preferably.

I'm hoping to get the pump, fpr, and injectors with this. Anything else left over would be great.

IF I do not need the AFPR someone please tell me why, so that I can instead use that money (and a bit extra) to buy a jonnyracecar fmic. :)
