At the last monthly meeting, some of us were discussing maybe increasing the frequency of the get-togethers. We had tentatively planned on trying to do a bi-weekly thing to see if that works. Another possibility would be a twice a month thing, which is obviously roughly the same as every two weeks, but still a bit different.

ANYWAY, I wanted so solicit everyone's opinion and availability for this Sunday evening, the 11th, to see how many folks want to meet up. So, how about it?

PS-- I also posted this to the SoFla DSM list, so you can either reply here or there.

Well between the responses here and the ones from the SoFla DSM list (you HAVE all joined that, right? ) it looks like a go. There's already about 5-6 people that said they'd be there. Let's plan on it-- same time and place this Sunday night!

Probably so. Paul mentioned on the SoFla DSM last night that it looks like we should try that. He said he would update the SoFla DSM home page to indicate that we will be switching to every other week. Let's go ahead and plan on that.

I don't remember seeing you there last night-- did you stay long?

Hello guys,

It sucks that I missed the last two meetings, coz it seems like things are getting better. Right now I´m in Brazil and I will be here for a long time, but hey, I wouldn´t be able to go even if I was there coz the car was down.

Since I´m gonna be here for a while (until August) I´m thinking of starting a new project car here, there´s this 5 cylinder 2.0liter fiat marea, 142hp n/a, I wonder if there´s some room for boost in this high compression (10:1) engine! There are turbo models of this car here and they output over 180hp... pretty cool. I´m doing the test pipe soon, I wonder if it will help. Maybe a small turbo and a custom manifold can do the trick for this car, something like a 9b ? I know it sounds crazy but I miss boost.

Btw, regular pump gas here is 80 octanes, Yikes!!! Theres premium ones for 91 though, but it´s not nearly half as cheap as the one in the u.s.

Today I am getting my ported o2 housing in the fedx, I can wait till I put it on tonight

Is it true iif you install a down pipe and port out your o2 housing to match your down pipe you will gian 2 more pound of boost naturaly "is that true"
