i wish that i could of made it but i had to work all day. I would have looked for another valve cover and anything else that might have been useful now or maybe in the future.

A few people came by and got some pretty good deals on parts. A couple notable purchases were Doug getting a pair of 1G cams and cam gears and a 1G intake manifold for his car for $30. Doug, when you are ready, we'll pull your head off and port match it to the 1G intake, install ARP head studs, and those cams, and all together that swap should be worth about 5mph even with the stock T25. One hell of a difference for $30!

Brian came by and picked up a Dejon Tool intake pipe, 1G valve cover, 1G thermostat housing, a 1G oil filter housing, a set of 8mm Magnecore plug wires, and a Road Race turbo outlet pipe all for $50.

I'm glad I was able to make the guys that showed up some good deals, and thank you guys for helping me clear some of this stuff out.

Regards,

I'm sure if Aslan hasn't tossed it yet, he'll hold one for you until you can swing by and pick it up. He had a few more besides the one I got. If not maybe you and I can work something out-- I just got it as a spare and don't really need it yet.

Who is going to see 2 fast 2 furious this friday. June 6th,

Do you think friday night we should make a group and go head out to muvico. what do think?

I want to see it but I heard that at Movie Co there is an invitation only party. Maybe you can get into the party but not the movie?. At Las Olas movie theature there is a car show. Friday & Saturday 6pm-Midnight, and Sunday 1pm-9pm. It's sponsored by Power 96, Digital Wheels, and a few others. Might be pretty good, might not. The tickets are being sold in advance so you better get them if you want to see it there.:thumb:

Hey guys, guess what! I stumbled across a 92 GSX with 92K miles on it for $1,000. I was going to use the money to buy the XX trim but I really think this is a great investment. The car looks like it has been repainted. Just a little rust on the wiper arms and stuff like that but all in all it looks like a good buy. I have some 1G awd stuff like a TMO stage 2 ECU, 3'' cat-back. I think ima go ahead and get this whip depending on further examation of the vehicle (ie compression check). What would you do?

I wonder whose going:confused: I already know john decker, a bunch of his friends, agim and myself will be there as for recardo we will miss you till you come back frome brazil. The movie (To fast to furiouse) i went to the one in boca and there were some nice DSM owners that i refered to the meet this sunday so there should be quite a few dsmers at the meet that we all should welcome. :dsm:

Rob,

Hey, whatever happened to our planned "install day"? I've now got a major list of stuff that I can slap on the car-- intake manifold, cams, and a fuel pump rewire.

On an unrelated note, I picked up a 95 e-prom ECU yesterday. Getting ready for DSMlink....now all I need is a laptop and the actual software installed onto the ECU. Anybody got a spare $600 laying around they wanna donate? :)

And people keep throwing around the idea of a picnic-- let's talk that up a little and maybe get something nailed down.

i am available for an install day on any thursday or friday. i don't know much but i can read and i am pretty good with wiring.if someone picks a date and a location (thursday or friday) i will be there. i really want to get a picnic planned. We need to come up with a date and then organize something. I was thinking of cb smith. its not that far, well like 5 minutes from me and its not a hike for the miami guys. just a thought.

Brendon:dsm:

Hey Guys,

I'll be out there on install day so I can put my mbc on, and also you can count me in on the picnic

Just let me know

What a fu#@king week, Just last week my arternater went out on me, and got that fix, and now my water pump is no good.

Just great, I wouder whats going to next

Sorry to hear that, dude. While you're in there doing the water pump, might as well do the timing belt-- you're gonna have all the other stuff off already anyway. A lot of people change the water pump whenever they do a timing belt change since it's right there.

whatever you do don't go to the dealer but then again i am stating the obvious.

Brendon:dsm:

yea they might charge alot,

I'm going to get an oem water pump, becuase they last longer than after market,

Yeah, get a Mitsu water pump, but I think Brendon's point was don't let them do the install. They'll charge you like a million dollars and still screw it up.
