Ok everyone, bad news. I'm going to need my tranny rebuilt. Of course you are not me, so that's only bad news for me, but like Aslan, I'm also probably gonna be saying goodbye to the DSM world.

Considering that I just had my engine rebuilt, it's gonna be hard for me to afford having the tranny rebuilt, I thought about it and I would rather swap a manual than having this auto piece of sh!t rebuilt. But then again I cannot afford that. I can't afford anything, so I'm doing the cheapest solution : Junkyard tranny. After that, I'll probably be selling the car

I haven't really thought about what car I'm gonna get after this, but it's probably not going to be fast, I just spent too much money on this and I think I need to take care of other things in my life right now and maybe actually start studying and get my degree instead of wasting part of my time modding the car.

I just wanted to thank everyone in the meetings and good luck with your projects.

Sorry to hear that, man. I wish there was something I could do to help. I don't know if you're interested, but there's a place in Miami that has a 97 Talon AWD for sale right now for $7400 (5-speed).

i am sorry to hear that you are leaving the DSM world. You spent so much money on your car. Why leave now? Was it the shift kit that messed up the tranny. Maybe there are other options. I just can't think of any right now.

Sorry to have to change the subject, but:

DOES ANYBODY AROUND HERE HAVE A POCKETLOGGER? I really need to log my car and would graciously offer pizza and beverages to anybody that could bring their logger and help me do a few runs. I have been reading up a lot lately on stuff like knock, timing retard, EGTS, and stuff and have a pretty good idea of why my car is running the way it is, but I NEED to log it to make sure. Anyone?

random ass question- but thats what im here for- i was in st pete beach over the past week and there were so many rice out POS cars that it just made me sick, i made sur to rent a dsm while i was down there though a 3G eclipse spyder gt, pretty good car, i raced i won, i raced i won, it made me laugh, but the question now, are there that many ricers in SE florida also? and if so do they make a repelent or spray to keep them from revving at you? the eclipse had the stock altezza's and a pretty deep exhaust note, so every body wanted to race, i saw maybe 3 nice imports down there and that was it

well eveywhere i have been in Florida their is rice. I mean if you were in south florida on a friday night they all come out like its a full moon or something. But then again everywhere you go you are gonna see that.

Because if it was on a Friday or Saturday night, hardly ANYBODY would show up, since there's so much more stuff going on. Besides, it's not THAT late of a meeting-- who goes to bed at 10:00 anyway?

For anyone who is interested there are car meets at the Coral Springs Lowes on Monday night. I saw a black and a silver 1g with dsmtuners.com stickers and wondering if yall are on here. If anyone is interested just post a reply to make sure its worth typing about the meet.

I've been to that meet at Lowes a few times. There is either a big crowd or practically no one at all. Last time I went there were some Mustangs and some Civic's racing, lots of chrome and airbags. Not a bad size group overall though.

I'll probally be hitting up all the spots now.....

I'm picking up my car today!!!!!!

I got it!

I forgot how bad my brakes are! I don't have my springs in either and with the new front it looks all jacked up!

It's more blue than I wanted, but they did a great job on the pearl.

I might make it to the next DSM meeting at Towers on the 27th, but I also have a show I'm entering up in Vero that day. I'll try
