Looks like things are starting to come together for several of us SoFla people. Ricardo's car should be up soon (if we can figure out how to put the tranny back together), I'm starting to do fuel mods, and I know a few other people that are doing stuff to their cars. Can't wait to see Kristin's car too-- she's been teasing us with it for several months now...

I have a tranny to put together too(for the past 2 weeks),havent gotten around to do it yet.
most likely going to get it rebuild and keep it as a spare tranny.
anyone know any tranny place in SoFla?, or know how much $$ an average rebuilt will cost?

I was in towers last week on fridays and didnt see not even 1 dsm they were are big blocks like someboy say and of course rice boys like me jejejeje i left early i went to this tootsie strip club. By the way is there like any Puerto rican here into DSM i know most of them are into toyota and stuff but i feel like the only one.

Anyway is a lot of people go on friday i might go, nobody really knows me there but is kulll

Alright guys, here's an update on my car : we put the valve body back on (me and doug) and it seems liike the clutch is not engaging, I think something was missing and I'm going to take it to Darren's shop (Speed Engineering) today to see if I can work on it. If everything goes right I should be able to go to Daytona for the weekend, there's gonna be a tuner bash over there and you all should come !

Yes, it's always on the last Sunday of the month. Every month. Hope to see everybody there!

Paul sometimes doesn't update the sfla.dsm.org page, but usually he does. Don't forget to join the SoFla DSM list using the link at the top of this thread-- he usually sends out meeting reminders to list members. I just checked and he does have the March meeting notice on the SoFla home page. Also he's now put a big link right at the top for how to join the SoFla DSM e-mail list.

I will be holding a HUGE parts blowout sale at the next meeting, March 30th. Tell everyone you know who has a DSM to bring cash and make offers. I'm bringing bins and bins of parts; come sift through, pick out what you need, and make an offer. Here is a hint. I'll probably take what you offer me. Bring cash and get this stuff out of my garage!! See you all at the meeting. I will also bring some high performance stuff too if it hasn't sold yet.

No, these are going to be mostly used stock parts, not performance stuff.
