thats my buddy cobys old car he sold it to someone in tx. there is a led on the spoiler and the lisence plate has one that lights up. they also frenched in an led that runs alond the bottom and then painted alittle over it so u cant see it till it lights up. looks pretty good because u wouldnt know it was there. he shoulda kept that car. looks better in person.

I believe that car is somewhat local to me now here in Dallas, TX. Sadly enough, the current owner claimed he did all that work on the car!

That red car was on ebay, wasn't it? I know someone who was bidding on it... didnt make the high bid but was interested. looks great. kinda confusing to the eye, to see no taillights on it. What did they use to fill? sheetmetal?

Yea, I talked to the guy who bought it at Hot Import Nights here in Dallas this year. I said, "wasn't this on eBay?", and he was like "no! not this!" "I've had it for XXXX years!"
It's now got lambo-door conversions, but other than that I think it's the same. Isn't it an auto?

Well I was thinking... Is it more popular with clean stylish built cars or " vulgo cars"? Seems like alot of cars are mostly draped with stickers and cool patterns on the side and they get alot of attention eventhough they are not so much done to? In this thread I must say that one of the nicest ones Ive sen so far is Keiths and miteclgst.
Keiths because its really well done and was spectacular when it came out(still is btw)..Miteclpgst cause its clean.Yes its not much done and its a blitz :shhh: ..but still its good looking and clean. I like clean cars that you look at twice.
My goal while building mine was that ppl should look at it and go " Damn..thats a nice car""....but what has he really done to it?" Then I feel like I did a good job:)
Clean..stylish....not overdone.Thats my type of showcar :)I went from flames and stripes to a car with no stickers or anything..just a rebuilt, clean looking thing :)
Oh..and I got go as well for those who wants to start that debate ;-)

heres a pic of mine when we went to daytona in 02.
as for cobys car ask the guy in texas why the car has missouri plates :) and tell him u know koby kindal. that ought to get a confused look on his face. i hate it when people pose and act like they did somethin they didnt. his car is a 5 speed gsx the motor had been worked alittle with cams and a bigger turbo, not sure what else. i talked to koby the other day about it and he laughed. as far as sheet metal we takced some aluminum and then glassed and filled in the tails. on my car i have a widebody kit and i shaved the tails and used the reverse lights for tails. looks clean that way. took off the wing also it makes the rear look soooo much wider. im finishing the interior so it can get painted again inside and out. will look slick. also finally got my turbo on the 420 so she should move t3/4 if your wondering. anyways i will talk to u all later. ps like the convertable ^^^^^

Hey, seeing as how you have the kaminari wb kit, do you think a stock 2gb bumper would be able to fit up to it? Maybe with a little work?

Your spyder is awesome. Definitely looks alot better now imo :thumb:

What lip is that?

no i dont think it would work due to the fact that the fenders stick out father and wouldnt match up. i would use a fibreglass one that can be flexed alittle and shaved down to make it fit good.

OMG eurogstspyder speaks. dude have to say you still have the #1 spyder in the world. got any plans on doing another back seat enclosure? i was going to do almost the same as yours, but i nixxed that and went for a more flowing design, plus it was easier. i love the subs though. check it out sometime http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/509528/6

I love your 1G!
Saw it on DSMTalk a while back, love it with the Drift Kit.

ive seen that red eclipse in person and it used to run around in kc. and i have a couple of friends that worked on it.

the WHOLE car is shaved...... the whole rear end and there are l.e.d.s in the back that you can only see when they light up for his brakes. the a and b pillar are molded to the fender and everything is molded back bumper sides etc. also the car has all go to used to be a drag car till he decided to go show. its soooooo nice. on 19s and air ride also

yeah coby lives in north kc, i live in prarie village. we were always rollin around and hittn car shows together, i wish he still had it. hes into custom bikes now, go figure. deviant u live here in kc?? cobys car wasnt much of a drag car because he didnt take it dwn the track much, street racing he did alittle. but yeah it is complete custom. joe leon and chris from arkansas were the ones who built the car in cobys garage. u know them?? i havent seen joe in along time if u have his number.

Well, I take my car to HIN shows every year (even though it's a summer daily driver), so I might as well post it. :thumb:

That's nice stuff. I can't not drive my car. Just seems wrong.
Gotta love paint rather than vinyl. Definitely the way to go! Nice car! :thumb:
