It's been 3 years now.... Anything new to show? I knew tastes and styles have changed so it'd be awesome if there were new cars to show (I know a lot of you have been to car shows, and unfortunately being the military I don't get much chances to go, so any pics would be awesome...LOL):D

I took her to 3 shows last year and 1 so far this year. I have 2 1st place finishes and 2 2nd place finishes. With the help from a few people the car will be changing through out the season and under go a few major changes during the 08 winter. She will be going to the track and dyno this year to get some numbers as well. I have way to many pic of the build but here is one.

<a href="http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d44/turbo1307/AWD%20Spyder/?action=view&current=clean.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d44/turbo1307/AWD%20Spyder/clean.jpg" border="0" alt="after the show"></a>

For anyone that dosent like the graphics dont worry, they will be changed up for about every show.

Rest can be found here.

Looks like a stock red GS convertible with painted black rims and some graphics.

My front bumper is custom. So is the fiberglass dash I've been building.

I'll post pics when finished. Should be pretty show worthy..

Your right thats exactly what it is.

But instead its a GST converted to GSX with 6 bolt, custom interior and those painted black wheels are Volk TE37 with slicks.

How is that a custom interior?

Again you caught me, its not. If I remember all spyders came from the factory with rx-7 storage bins in the rear, a mount for the amp, corbeau seats with harness, few extra gauges, touch screen cd/dvd player.

Sorry, what do you consider custom?

Maybe I should reword it to say "not stock"...is that better.

I'll pm you on my next post to make sure its ok before I post it. Want to make sure I word everything correctly. Dont want to confuse anyone about anything.

painted black wheels ?! are you serious def need to do some research those wheels cost me $2k def not some random painted stock wheels along with the MT 24.5 slicks... wow oh wow! hey justin do you have that part number from mitsu for the rx7 bins too :) j/p

Didnt you guys know, when Mitsu made the AWD spyder they put in it the rx-7 storage bins corbeau seats with 4pt harness, and the touch screen cd/dvd player

Come on guys, get with it thats not custom

So what you guys are saying is I could have bought my car like this and not spent all this time, money and many other things building this car? Keith (92awddsm) is going to be so pissed when he finds out as well.

Your Spyder is soo nice... I even like the design stuff on it :thumb:
Who says show cars cant be nice and clean.

Duh, where have you been man.

not to mention the memphis sound system through out the car and custom setup in the trunk. . . hm

Oh ha ha guys. Glad to see you got a luahg out of that.
Since your link didn't work for me. JUDGING FROM THE PHOTO...

Can you see the storage bin in that photo? I can't.
Can you see an amp mount? I can't.
I see black seats. You can find them in stock Eclipses.
Can you see any extra gauges? I can't.

I'm not bashing you by any means but when I go to shows and see stock OEM interiors with a few gauges and the owner tells me it's a custom interior I about laugh. That's not custom IMO. Or when they replace a OEM speaker with an aftermarket one. That;s not custom IMO either.

Thus me asking what was custom about it. Couldn't see any of the 'custom' parts from the pic.
Sorry, what do you consider custom?
