Just bought a Mitsubishi 20g but it has an hks external wastegate. I was wondering do any 20gs come with external? beause the turbo looks modded so it will work for a 2G. Also what car does this 20g come out of i believe its a
TDO6H-20G its big! and what is it capable of I have all the supporting fuel modds ....shooting for 25psi and 400 hp

The original application of the TD06H 20G was not wastegated, so if you find one like this you will have to use an external gate on a gasoline application.

...because the turbo looks modded so it will work for a 2G.

Someone probably installed a machined 7cm DSM turbine housing to work with the TD06H turbine.

Also what car does this 20g come out of i believe its a TDO6H-20G its big!

400whp is asking a lot of a 20G at 25psi....although it has been done and can be done on a good tune. You'll need good fuel, and lots of timing.

If you have the standard TD06H-20g as you say then with minimal modification it can be bolted on to your car, but you have to figure a way to route the wastegate.

If memory serves me correctly, these turbos are sourced from the Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks.

wow so it comes out of a Fuso truck??? Also yea it already has a HKS wastegate which is routed so it just sits on the top right side of the headers. So on this 20g what is the MAX psi it will produce safely??

i have a td06H 18g came off a mitsubishi fuzo truck and is internally gated. had a wierd exhaust housing that didn't match up to a dsm or t3 flange so i took a 7cm turbine housing from a 16g and had is machined to fit the H wheel. that turbo is very capable of making 400. i had a regular td06 20g a couple years ago and went 12.1 on a stock motor, and tuned the best i could with a AFC. hope i could help a little bit and good luck with your turbo.

Yea I had a safc too but Im about to get the ECMLink V3 so that should do it... Still learning on the tunin ,but just wanted to make sure it could push 400 hp. Now I just want to know how much psi is it capable of??

Too many factors to call on that. Plus I don't have direct experience with a 20g.

Yea its completely machined customized by turbonetics. It fits right into my gsx aslong as i dent in the waterline a lil bit. It has an external dump to atmosphere.... Just need to know what kind of psi this turbo can handle??

I ran my 20g at 30+ psi. However i run every turbo i get at full go. If i want less power, i get a smaller turbo, if i want more i get a bigger turbo.

At 30 plus psi.. That will do I am just shooting for 400 hp. I already have all the necesarry fuel upgrades and everything.. Only thing that wasnt ready was the turbo, I was either gonna get a big 16g or this 20g but the sounds like the 20g will push more psi and reach 400hp easier

There is also this one that I have for sale. it's a TD06 and a 20g from a GMC cyclone/typhoon.
I beleive it's a frank5 turbo.
