Tachometer not working.

Hey all real quick question,

Im buying this 90 GSX. The tach doesnt work. I have a repair manual, but it isnt giving me any troubleshooting information.

What do I need to look for that may be unplugged/damaged. Is this a common issue? Id prefer not to get a ricey 5" aftermarket one if I can avoid it.

you need to make sure the tach adapter that attaches to the coil is hooked up still. If it is, check the noise filter. A little searching can find you what you need to know.
