t28 or small 16g?

should i stick with a small 16g? or buy a bigt28 for $350? is it worth it?
I don't have any fuel mods. Only mods are intake,mbc, boost gauge, 3in downpipe.
Am I getting a good deal for $350?

Go for a t28 if you are a 2g. Also the $350 is an awesome deal if the turbo is in great shape. But I dont buy used turbos w/o rebuilding them so it depends. Usually best to go brand new.

hehe, it was on a car my friend bought but he (seller) took it off and put in a t25. So he is selling his big t28, i think its practically almost new.
i go the the street tracks in town a lot and i don't really see his car, so hopefully he didnt' abuse it.

Is the 16g already on your car??? if so stick with that.

If you already have a small 16g then it's unlikely you will see much difference in switching to the T28. If you don't have either then the T28 sounds like a good deal. When buying a used turbo check the shaftplay, preferably while it's still on the car it's coming off of. After a turbo has been sitting for a while with no oil around the bearings it will have more play than if there were oil in the center section.
