1G T-case won’t slide all the way on drive shaft

Hey guys I am putting my transfer case back in and I have all the bolts in but as you can see in these pics it won’t slide all the way to the base. It will slide all the way in but it won’t line up with the dowel pins and bolts holes so I have to slide it forward towards the front so they line up. It doesn’t look right to me and I’m curious what you guys have to say. Thanks.

Idk it looks good to me, they need a little bit of sliding room for engine/trans movement, it won't slide till the splines stop or things will break.

Don't worry, it looks just fine. The yoke won't slide in all the way when the t-case is in the right position.

Look at the yoke splines and see if they are twisted.
