Will the T28 fit in to 1gen 92 Talon without doing anything major and what supporting modes will i need thx :talon:

I'll try to answer this as best as I can... The T-28 is a Garret turbo, much like the T-25 the 2G Eclipse comes with. Many people convert their 2G over to the Mitsu. turbo (14b, 16/18/20g) and that process involves swapping the water lines, oil lines, and lower intercooler piping.

In short, the routing of these lines is a bit different. You can bend your existing hard water lines as you transfer them to the T-28, but you'll likely want to go ahead and invest in a new oil feed and return line.

As for the intercooler charge piping, you can probably use the lower hard pipe designed for the 2G. I'm guessing it will line up with the 1G sidemount just fine. If you have a frontmount, that's a different story.

thx for the info i just didnt know if i culd use a t28 on a 1st get thx again

as long as the T28 has a mitsubishi turbine housing it will fit w/ minor modification. A T25/T28 from lets say a Silvia will not work because they have a garrett housing. To make it work you will need a custom o2 and manifold

For a T28 to fit on a 1g you will need:
Custom lower intercooler pipe (one made for a 2g won't work)
Re-route your water lines a little (modify your stock lines)
Purchase a new oil feed line
Modify your stock oil return tube

Why would you ever want to do that anyway? Supporting modifications will mostly likely include: 190lph fuel pump, 660cc injectors, S-AFC. Those are the fuel upgrades required to push the potential of the T28, as far as exhaust, intercooler, intake, boost control, engine internals, and any other of the 1,000 parts you can put on your car. May I suggest the newbie forum?
