I need to take off the turbine housing to port the inlet, turbo is new so it shouldn't be too hard. do I just remove the 4 bolts and it will come off easily?

Do you guys know how tight they are supposed to go back on?

Youre not porting around the blade are you?

Stuff a rag in it and go to town with whatever youre trying to do.

No, just the inlet to remove the step... I want to take it off because I don't want the shavings falling in there even with a rag.

Whatever holds the turbine housing to the CHRA (whether it be a snap ring or 4 bolts, it's been so long since I've seen my t25!). It should be easy to pull the housing off once it is unbolted. Just be careful not to hit the blades on the housing when pulling it.

Hey guys, I removed the turbine housing.. forgot to mark the relation to the center cartrige. It appears on the T-25/ T-28 does not have a key to lock the rotation and can rotate on a sleeve. I need to put it back properly, hopefully the wastegate actuator is accurate enough for the alignment .. or should I mock up with the oil return line on the car..

There's only 4 ways it can possibly go back on....once you see it you'll understand. If the outlet of the compressor housing is facing down, then the inlet of the turbine housing should be facing upward....a complete 180 from the compressor outlet.
