I have a 97 spyder GS-T, the engine has been well taken care of, and needed to know what turbo (T28) would be good for the FWD ones and yes I will be getting Walbro 190 LPH Fuel pump and possibly 550s injectors not sure if needed. But am looking for a little bit of an upgrade on turbo and I do already have a greedy BOV not installed yet just want to know what I needed to be done to obtain this goal, trying to just stay street racing and no g16 please just want a T-28.

Upgrades already:
Intake, Exhaust, BOV

Do you have one in your possession already? Neither of these turbos have been available new for at least a decade. You can still buy a new TB2578 but not from Forced Performance.

Also...a T28 Killer was a Big 16G with a Garrett T25 cover, so if you're absolutely turned-off by a 16G for whatever reason then scratch that off your list.

I understand you want a t28. You've made that clear. Help us help you. Elsewhere you've posted about this.
I asked you to post goals. If you truly want a t28 call the vendors mentioned.
If I may offer a suggestion. Tell us about the goals of the car and we can offer suggestions. A goal is not what parts you want.
If you're already dead set on a t28 you should have the information you need.

Would like to just street race/0-60 that just my main goal

well what t28 can i get that would still work, im new to this stuff
It's called a Garrett TB2578, the direct-fit upgrade for a 2G DSM offered by the manufacturer. Factory part number is 705329-0002, so pretty much any Garrett Performance Distributor. I also try to keep two or three cores here at all times to rebuild and sell, but they're a slow mover because the 16G is superior in every way.

You can get a Big T28 from ExtremePSI here. I had one back in 2012 and was thoroughly unimpressed. It wore so weirdly that it couldn't be rebuilt after 18 months of DD duty, so I went 16g in 2014 and have used them ever since.
Unless you're hellbent on using a 100% direct-fit upgrade turbo on your 2G, this is absolutely correct. The rotor group on these units is close to the size of a TD05H (Small) 16G, but the bearing system is similar to that of a TD04. It's the largest rotor group available anywhere in the Garrett T2 lineup, so it's already at a disadvantage in terms of durability. That, and the compressor map ends around 22-23psi...so the closer you are to the choke line at high pressure the lifespan of the unit will drastically shorten. A 16G is a more-durable turbo with greater power potential which was designed and built by the same parent company that designed and built our cars, so there's no reason not to choose the 16G unless your planned upgrade demands something entirely stock-appearing.

Yes I'm trying to appear stock and would like to just know what is needed to obtain this goal, wanting to look stock but not at the same time, I want a fast 0-60 that's why I am trying to go with t28 but I would like to do a 16g just don't want to completely change the engine bay or rebuild the whole thing

Decided to go with the t-28 killer but want to know what else needs to be done I have a Walbro 190 LPH as my fuel pump but what else is needed to complete this (1997, GS-T Spyder) (Miles 168,000)

It has already been explained the t28 killer does not exist anymore. You can get a regular t28. I would still recommend a 16g. Miles aren't the problem, wear is. If the engine is healthy, isn't using oil, good compression it isn't a problem.

What you need depends on what you want to do. If you need a replacement turbo you can run it without additional stuff you just can't take advantage of its full potential. Basic install is just the piping changes and oil/coolant lines.

If you haven't checked out the whole dsmtuners page I would encourage you to do so.

Ill say it. 14b with a 7cm housing :D :D
Small 16G with a 6cm2 housing would actually be the closest match to a standard DSM TB2578 (T28). It's actually a better turbo comparing the compressor maps...plus more-reliable; but some people are so offended by J-pipes that they'd rather pay more and get less.
