Swapping turbo housings

just curious if anyone has attempted swapping a dsm turbo housing to a t3/t4 style housing. i was told by pte that it was doable just curious if anyone had attempted or should i just buy another turbo??

i have a 60-1 with a t3 center section it has a dsm style exhaust housing people have but 30r wheels in 16g's.
