I have a 90 gsx. Motor and tranny are out, the hood is off. I took the spoiler off, and prepped it and sprayed it, when i sprayed it (black acrylic enamel (spelling) it didn't look to good, but the next morning after it was dry it looked GREAT. Very few spot of orange peel or anything, minor orange peel will get buffed out, correct?
My question is this, i would like any tips on masking the car off, and spraying the paint on the car. Someone said i wouldn't need to primer it, just wetsand and spray, what do you think?
What should the paint look like right after i spray it, how many coats, etc etc, I'm so excited about this
I held up the freshly painted spoiler to the car, i cant wait until it all looks like this.
I also have some rock chips in the front fenders, very minor, i was just going to sand them and bondo over them, they arnt deep at all.
I know this is a run-on, please forgive me, I'm just excited about this and to learn about it
