2G Spyder Paintjob color Suggestions

So I am going to get my car painted with maacos cheap 200 something paint job. Yeah I know im getting what I pay for but until I get a job its the best that's getting done. So my question for you guys is what color do you think I should get the car painted? The only three colors I wont get are red, silver, and black so if anyone has another color choice id love to hear it (I was thinking a dark grey that's kind of close to black since iv never seen a dark grey spyder dsm anywhere in Delaware so far iv only seen silver). I appreciate everyone's input

@Sleepygst Thx bud yeah I agree its like a normal color for most cars but iv yet to see one dark grey eclipse

Yeah, it's a heavy metallic silver with blue pearl. It's normally a dirty looking silver but once it gets hit with the right light, the blue really shows up. I'd either go Minden Silver or Red Cayenne for a Spyder.

Im not the biggest fan of the bronze color but it is deffinitly unique I do like that about it and i can imagine it would look sick in person especially when the light hits it but I do like that red you just mentioned WES. I know I said I didn't want red but I like the deepness of that red alot... have any of you had a maaco paint job? Anything I could do before hand to make it better? my cars already primed all id have to do it reprime the front bumper ### the guy before me did a shitty job on that

I am going to sell them if you are interessted and don't mind the high shipping costs from europe to usa

As I said, i will paint the car black and put some sexy yellow Gram Lights 57D in 18x9.5 with a 22mm offset on


I have the cover for the top, but i hate the procedure to put it on

I've never personally had a Maaco paint job. I paint all my cars myself. From what I've heard, they do close to nothing for prep work. I would hit the car with grease and wax remover one last time before handing over the keys. Also tape of anything that you think they might miss with their prep. Other than that, I've seen some good looking paint jobs from Maaco for cheap.

Also, something to think about with color choice is body condition. Lets say you have a pearl white car. It looks fresh and clean from every angle. You take it to get painted a deep glossy black and the second you get it out in the sunlight, you'll notice your car wasn't so fresh and clean after all. Darker colors, especially black, will almost magnify door dings, dents, and misaligned body parts. Lighter colors and metallic paints will help to "hide" any body damage that you didn't fix or didn't see before. Just a thought.

@ WES - How do you paint your cars if you don't mind me asking? Thanks for the tip about the body work the only dent on my car us not big at all but i cant get behind it to get it out im thinking of drilling a hole and pulling it out then filling the hole with bondo like I did for the spoiler holes

How much would you be willing to sell those amazing rims for? I don't have too much money now so I might not be bale to get them before there sold but im looking for another job and damn I just looked up the new rims your want those are like neon yellow there's someone over here in Delaware that has some bright ass lime green rims on his shitty car
