stupid question, the smaller hose off of where the radiator cap is...

where does that go exactly? basically what im doing in bypassing the coolant hoses to the turbo and i want to do it as easily as possible so i was hoping that goes straight to the turbo... and yes i know that it is a bad idea but i have my reasonings, thanks in advance guy

That should be a radator overflow hose. Also you are gonna fry your turbo.

More than likely, you're describing the hardline that sends coolant to the oil filter housing.

I think that hose runs to the oil filter housing.

The coolant lines for the turbocharger don't run to the radiator cap/water neck/thermostat housing on a 2G. One line runs to the engine block and the other runs to the water pipe between the thermostat housing and the water pump. I also believe what you have described is the coolant line to the oil filter housing as that is the only line on the water neck other than that for the overflow.

on my motor (no idea if its any different from a 2g) theres a bigger one and a smaller one. the smaller one is for the turbo.
