 Parden the stupid question but could someone remind me what size turbo is on a 1g (94 5spd) and second what size of exhaust would be good for a street daily driver. I ve heard that 3inch is too big for the stock turbo and will cause boost creep. I tried looking on club dsm but it seems the site is still down. Once again sorry for the stupid questions.

Your car has a 14B turbo. 3'' will cause boost creep, but if you port the wastegate and O2 housing that will reduce it tremendously (sometimes eliminate it). I think you should still go 3'', cause in the future you might want/need a 3'' and you would have to buy another exhaust system. And it helps everything breathe easier, which increases performance nicely.

in addition to porting the o2 housing would crushing my bov, and adding a boost crontroller help at all, or do those two have anything to do with controlling boost creep?

The Mitsu turbo wastegate is too small to handle the extra air once you start turning up the boost and put a free flowing exhaust on, that causes the boost creep. Porting the turbine housing and O2 housing usually gets rid of the creep.
And don't crush your CBV, it can hold boost up to about 20psi.
