anybody see something called a strobefx wand? my cousin had one and it strobes a ball in different patterns and colors. anyway i think itd be neat to make or get a clear shift knob out of acrylic or w/e and sand it to make it look frosted. then rip apart the strobefx and put the leds in the handle. anyone make something like that? and no cheap stupid clear plastic neon or led shift knobs... i want something soldid feeling. could acrylic be tapped by itself? put a sleeve in it? use a set screw to mount? something like acrylic or lexan either a ball or nice shape.

thanks for looking.
