I have a stock one with all the lettering worn off. I need a new stocker or and evo 8 knob. Both look good.

i used permatex thread locker read (262) on my shift knob so it would sit straight. didnt know it was so power. used a monkey wrench to twist the knob off, and it twisted the threads right off the shifter. (B&M) 303 stainless steal just twisted right off LOL. now i have to either buy a new shift kit, or re thread the broke one. probably going to re thread it.

Here is mine.!

He has a knock off because the actual shifter is shiny and the B&M are dull more of a brushed look, there are listings on ebay with different color pivot points

i was wrong anyway it's the otherway around. purple is correct, blue is fake.
here is a pic right off B&M's website:

and here is a ebay listing for the B&M shifter:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0641237002&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT
and that's blue... hmmm so the guy could have really thought he bought a B&M shifter. unless it really came in two different colors? idk
the look like theyw ere designed the same, so i doubt one is better then the other.
