Have you check the a/c and power steering, timing belts for proper tension? or that no parts are slightly rubbing the pulleys.

That may be a possibility. This past week I've tore down the engine to change a head gasket. So far most components are good. i'll check if the tension is off.

Just wanted to let you guys know I just finished my first timing and head gasket job. I feel proud of myself.:)

The problem that was causing the ringing is gone and i guess it would be a improper tension belt.

All I have to do now is fix screeching belt. :(

You talking about that power steering belt squeel at start up? Just tighten her all the way up and should go away.
