So for those of you that don't know - I had my 96 Spyder stolen Thanksgiving weekend last year. The thief got into a high speed chase and blew the motor. The insurance company totalled the car, and I didn't feel like rebuilding a motor when I had another car that needed attention. Fast forward to last week. My brother, who works at a dealership, calls me saying this old Floridian couple just traded in a 97 GST. He looked it over, and the car was bone stock, no leaks, no shaft play, and 76000 miles. I come to look at it, and except for the usual spots (driver side seat bolster, front bumper), the car doesn't look older than a few years old. The best part? I got it for 5100 out the door. I forgot how much I missed my Eclipse until I got behind the wheel again. Ahhhhhh.....boost. I'll put up some pics in a minute.
