Stock intake manifold + Stock cams ~ 400hp???

Hey everyone. I'm using a gt30 on my street dd build, gt30s are usually 400bhp i was wondering if stock camshafts and intake manifold would be very restrictive for my 400hp goal? plus will the intake manifold blow?

I have a set comp 272 laying around, but i don't like my hks 272 on my other 2g they don't seem to be that great for street use.
I do have a magnus street manifold w/ 70mm tb. I think it maybe to big? plus i want to use it for a different build.

I would throw the magnus IM and 70mm TB on there, but thats just me. The stock one won't blow but will decrease potential horsepower. I think you should be able to get up to 400 hp with the stock IM but it will be more of a challenge

People make well over 400whp with stock intake and cams. You'll just have to throw more boost at it and the turbo will spool slower

Its possible I almost made 400 and found some issues with the car. Going back and hoping to get 400. I am on a stock intake and throttle body. I also have cheap 272 bc. Not the greatest cam and plus doing it on a 18g. Just need a good tune. Good luck

What fuel are you using? (pump gas, e85, etc.)

BC 272's are almost half the price (retail) of what the Kelford 272's and GSC S2 (272)'s go for..

Delta H272's are a great regrind cam you can get for $300. Or, Delta K272's on new billets can be had for around $400. IMO, either of those cams would work nicely!

It has been done before I would search for an evo 3 itm personally. I've never used the 272's I have 264 and I really love how my car pulls on the high end coupled with my evo itm and fp exhaust manifold.

I'm running a jmfab intake. But the 1g tb been proving for above 450whp. It wouldn't hurt to get cams but it's doable with out them.

Lol sorry price wise. They are decent but not the best cam out there. Also its a lot easier to get 400 with e85 but pump is not out of the question. Like I said before couple ponies away from 400 and I am on pump. Also if you have parts just put them on for now. It wont hurt if you plan on upgrading the turbo.

I like the EVO3 intake manifold and HKS 264 cam combo. Makes a big difference in top end with nice crisp response.
