Stock 99 gsx tires

What are the stock 99 eclipse gsx tires? The 17 inch ones. I have 17 rims but low pros (215/40/r17) and i dont really want to swap them every winter because my hub caps look ugly i would rather just get the stock thicker tires and reduce that wheel gap i have

The stock GSX tires are 215/50/17, yeah the sidewalls are higher. The reason being the stock GSX wheels are 17x6.5 and not the usual 17x7 sizes available.

I bought a set from Americas tire before I switched to 18s. Not many brands have the OEM GSX size but I know Yokohama carries them.

Shows that they sell the Goodyear RS-A but they are too noisy and treadwear is terrible. I got that YK420 and they are way better than stock.

My 17s are 17x7.5 i believe. So i think 215/45/17 would suite me, or would the 50s work too?

bump, im also thinking of doing this , my concern is lowering it , id rather get aftermarket 17x7 or whatever and put stock size tires on it to close wheel gap rather then lowering, if their wider would like a 225/50 17 work i wonder maybe even doing same for 18's ? or if not , i'll just go ahead and get them 18 inch konig imagines with 225/40 tires, prokits and koni setup i have been wanting , thanks
